I am currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I was born in Hangzhou, China, and spent my most formative years at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School from 2002 to 2008. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Iworked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same research group, where I was later appointed as an Honorary Research Assistant Professor. During my years at HKU, I was supervised by Prof. Shu Yuen Ron Hui and Prof. Siew Chong Tan, who not only guided me as a researcher and educator, but also inspired my way of thinking at a deeper philosophical level, which I have come to appreciate more over the years. From 2020 to 2022, I served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. My research interests include power electronics, wireless power transfer, battery energy storage, and smart grid technologies.
