Yun Yang is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was born in Hangzhou, China, and spent his most formative years at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School from 2002 to 2008. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same research group, where he was later appointed as an Honorary Research Assistant Professor. From 2020 to 2022, he served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Yang’s research interests include power electronics, wireless power transfer, battery energy storage, and smart grid technologies. He has published over 150 technical papers, including more than 50 in top-tier journals. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and serves as an Associate Editor for several prestigious journals, as well as in various roles at international conferences and seminars.
